High School Geometry
I attended Spiro Public Schools in Oklahoma and graduated in 1995. From there I started college at Carl Albert State College in Poteau Oklahoma graduated and then transferred to East Central in Ada.
I received my Associate’s degree in 1997 from Carl Albert and then transferred to East Central University in Ada where I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2000. I am certified in Advanced Mathematics and PE. Then I returned to East Central and Now have a Masters Degree in Sports Administration.
After I graduated from ECU, I started my teaching career at Calvin Public Schools in Oklahoma and taught there for 11 years. Calvin is a small school 30 miles east of Ada and 30 miles west of McAllister. I then came to Madill and have been here for 6 years and starting my 7th. I am currently teaching High School Geometry.
I started teaching 17 years ago in 2001. Prior to High School Geometry I was teaching 6th Grade math.
I have taught 6th Math, 7th Math, 8th Math, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Trigonometry.
I have been married since 2013. I have 6 children with 3 graduated and 2 are in college at Southeastern University. My other 3 are now in High School in Madill. I have a pet Great Dane named Duke. I am also currently the Youth Minister at Oakview Baptist Churh here in Madill. I also love sports, mainly foorball, my favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners. My favorite baseball team is the Alanta Braves. For basketball it’s the OKC Thunder.
