Dear ECC Wildcat Families,
Welcome to school! We are all so excited to begin the new school year! The teachers and I truly hope to help your child make great strides in their education and have a wonderful year at the same time! While the daily routines and procedures may change from what we are used to, our goal is to keep the student learning as normal as possible. If you do walk your child up to the door, we ask that you please park your car in one of the parking lots so that we can keep the traffic in the drop off zones moving. We will have staff members outside to help ensure students make it to the correct classroom. The doors to the ECC open at 7:30 a.m. daily. Our dismissal times this year are as follows: 2:30 PreK car riders (Office entrance lot) 2:55 All bus riders 3:00 Kindergarten (Lower parking lot) 3:00 1st grade (Office entrance lot)
If you have a student that rides with a child in another grade, we ask that you follow the schedule and pick up location of the oldest child. Extra sanitization measures have been put into place throughout the ECC. Students will be distanced as much as space allows in both classrooms and the cafeteria. I have encouraged teachers to utilize our spacious playground and outdoor areas as often as possible to enhance their teaching. We will be hosting our annual “Open House/Meet the Teacher Night” soon! I encourage you to bring a camera and take lots of pictures when you meet the teacher. The teachers have been working extra hard to get their rooms ready for students and you will have many opportunities with great backdrops both indoors and outdoors. Our students are our #1 concern and we want to instill a love for learning for each one. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me. The ECC faculty and I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through the school year. Together with your help, we truly can do great things! It’s a Great Day to be a Wildcat! With Much School Spirit, Mrs. Cox |
