I graduated from Tishomingo High School…I also graduated from Murray State College with an associates degree. After attending Murray, I graduated with my Bachelor’s and my Master’s degrees from Oklahoma State College. I taught in Texas for 13 years before coming back to my home state of Oklahoma. I have taught in Oklahoma since 2009.

I started teaching at Madill Schools in 2015. I am the English Language Learner teacher for the Early Childhood Center. Prior to teaching in Madill, I have taught in Mustang Public Schools and Mid-Del Schools, as a first grade teacher and a Literacy Coach. I have also taught 13 years in Texas, teaching kindergarten, first, second, and reading/math. I taught in Kaufman ISD, Castleberry ISD, and Burleson ISD.

I like to read, sew, visit with friends, and I’m learning to play the ukulele!
