Madill defeated Dickson 14-6 in the first softball district playoff game Tuesday afternoon. Payton Arnold and Dahlia Marris each hit a home run.

As the academic year comes to a close within a month, Madill athletes are preparing for postseason play. Madill’s softball team has already reached the playoffs as they compete today (April 19) in the district playoffs at Plainview with Dickson. They face Dickson at 11 a.m. The team that has fewer than two losses by the conclusion of the day advances to the next round.
The baseball team welcomes Pauls Valley in the final district contest of 4A-3 at 5 p.m. Madill is playing for the fourth spot in the district. Currently, the ‘Cats are 6-7 in district play with the chance to move ahead of Cache with a win and a loss by the Bulldogs. The soccer teams welcome Ada tonight for senior night at 5:30 p.m. The game is expected to be streaming from Madill’s Youtube Hudl Channel click here
