Two Seniors Sign for Softball in College

Madill softball senior Ireland Groeber signed with Murray State College Wednesday morning in the Madill Event Center lobby and fellow senior Dahlia Marris chose Northeastern Oklahoma A&M of Miami. Family, friends, teammates and coaches celebrated the day with the all-district duo. Marris was tabbed for first team all-district 4A-4 utility infielder. Groeber was named to the all-district second team as a utility infielder. Marris primarily played shortstop when not in the circle pitching for the Lady 'Cats. Groeber was a staple at third base, while also working some as shortstop. Both have played MHS softball since they were freshmen.
