**The Oklahoma Council for Indian Education will be hosting their first Parent Advocacy Town Hall Meeting via Zoom on March 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
“Attention all families of Native American students in Oklahoma public schools. As we begin to close out the school year many Indian Education programs will be hosting parent meetings and tribal consultations per federal guidelines. Join us as we talk about what that means and who should be involved! And how to advocate for your student(s) during this important time!
We encourage you to send us your questions in our inbox or add them to our comment section. Our panelists will directly address these questions during the Town Hall. We will also be having an open forum immediately following our panel giving you an opportunity to share your concerns. Our panelists will speak on the areas of parent committees, tribal consultations, meaningful collaborations, and public hearings.”
If you would like to have the brochure and zoom link forwarded to you, please email: email@example.com.
**Tutoring applications are available at each school office. Tutoring is held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:20 – 4:30 pm in the high school library. ECC and ELEM students will ride the bus to the middle school and walk to the high school.
